What a scan costs
A scan's price is its type plus the options you add. The app shows the total before you start the scan.
For example, a full scan in Advanced mode with compliance evidence costs 2 + 1 + 1 = 4 credits.

Pricing questions
How does the credit system work?
Each scan costs credits based on its type and options. A security or privacy scan costs 1 credit and a full scan 2 credits. Advanced mode adds 1, deep mode 2, subdomain discovery +2 to +10 credits, by the number of hosts you pick (10, 25, 50 or 100), and exploit verification 1 (included in Deep mode). AI Findings is included on every scan, and a compliance assessment adds 1 credit flat, which covers every framework you select on that scan. An account owner or admin turns them on in account settings, and only the scans that use one are charged for it. Credits can be purchased individually or included in your subscription plan. The Free plan gives 5 credits at signup, then topped up to 2 every 30 days. The top-up fills your plan credits back to 2 and adds nothing if you already hold 2 or more of them; credits you bought do not count. Free plan credits expire on a rolling 30-day window that renews with each top-up. Credits you buy are spent after plan credits and last twelve months from your latest purchase.
Do unused credits roll over?
Scans spend plan credits first. On Pro and Business, unused plan credits roll over at renewal up to the plan's limit (20 on Pro, 80 on Business), and any above it are forfeited. Credits you buy are kept separately: they last twelve months from your latest purchase and are never reduced at renewal. Free plan credits expire on a rolling 30-day window that renews with each top-up.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can purchase additional credits at any time, or enable auto-refill to automatically top up your balance when it drops below a threshold. Scheduled scans will pause if your credit balance is insufficient.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel a monthly plan from the billing portal whenever you like. It stays active until the end of the current period and does not renew, and partial months are not refunded. When a paid plan ends, the account moves to the Free plan and its remaining plan credits become Free plan credits.
How does yearly billing work?
Pro and Business can be paid yearly, two months free: $1,290 and $3,490 a year. The yearly fee is paid up front, and the plan's credits still arrive every month. Within 30 days of purchase you can get a full refund if you have used no more than 10% of the term's credits. After that, refunds are prorated by the full months left.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. An upgrade takes effect once its payment succeeds: you pay the full price of the new plan, a new billing period starts that day, and no credit or refund is given for the unused part of the old period. Your existing credits are kept and the new plan's credits are added. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period and can be undone before then. Changes to or from a yearly plan go through support.
Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
Yes. Team accounts come with role-based access control (Owner, Admin, and Member roles). Enterprise plans add custom credit allotments and dedicated support. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.
Where are the full billing terms?
In the refund policy (https://onscanner.com/refund-policy), which covers renewals, refunds, credit expiry, plan changes and failed payments. It is the binding text, and the answers above summarize it.
